Freeman City Clerk Coquitlam's RCMP Public Safety Building RESOLUTION: THAT the District of Coquitlam be advised that the City of Port Coquitlam does not wish to participate in the District of Coquitlam's proposed new RCMP public safety building unless it is constructed as an extension to the present Christmas Way facility as was originally planned in 1972. BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: On April 30th the Council received an inquiry from the District of Coquitlam regarding the City's participation in their proposed new RCMP public safety building and a reply was requested by June 30th, 1990. On June 25, 1990, the Council instructed that a thirty-day extension be requested and on July 19th, 1990 we were advised that an extension had been granted until July 27th, 1990. Accordingly, the above-noted resolution has been prepared and we believe this reflects the Council's position. OD KK R.A.
