Purpose/Probiem: The purpose of this report is to provide additional information, (as requested by City Counci] on November 30, 1992), regarding the option of purchasing versus lease agreement for a trailer to be used at Hyde Creek Centre. Background Information: At the November 30, 1992 meeting of City Council, a report from the Protective Services Committee regarding a request from the Parks & Recreation Department to lease a trailer, for temporary office space, was considered. City Council requested additional information regarding the cost of purchasing the same trailer. Purchasing a 10' x 32' trailer wil) be approximately $9,600, plus taxes. Delivery will take approximately 4~6 weeks. By comparison, leasing (minimum of one year), the same trailer will cost $280.90 per month, plus taxes. Delivery is immediate.
