CHRAMICS 83 COOKING WITH CLAY ENTRIES For this year's show all entrants will have to pass a Selectton Committee. The purpose of selections ts not to "choose" the best pteces, but to select those appropriate for the show and to maintain general qualtty. Selections also give the Exhibition Committee the advantage of knowing the vartous types of work which will be sold, thereby aiding us with advertising and planning set up. The selections committee consists of one shop- owner (from a loeal craft store selling pots), one "funettonal potter", and one representative from the Exhtbitton Committee. Thetr baste guidlines are that the work should be "saleable", of reasonably good destgn and free of flaws.
