Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall on Monday, January 26th, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, and W.W. Stewart in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown and Parks and Recreation Director K.Jd. Taylor. ZOWING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: BL/01/87/01/26/01 Bylaw No. 2228: To alter the Community Plan designation of Lot "B" of Block 10, Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 40,Plan 5345, EXCEPT the East 297 feet, New Westminster District and the East 297 Feet of Lot "B" Block 10, Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 40, Plan 5345, EXCEPT part subdivided by Plan 25576, New Westminster District, from "Residential 3" to "Residential 1" | The property is addressed as 3171 Rae Street and 750 Prairie Avenue and the redesignation would permit the immediate residential development of the property. A fetter was received from Mr. B. Berchtoltd noting his concern over proper drainage once this land is developed as he has had problems before. David Stewart, 3196 Rae Street, expressed his concern regarding traffic increase and lack of sidewalks on Prairie Avenue . BL/03/87/01/26/06 Bylaw No. 2229: To rezone Lot "B" of Block 10, Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 49, Plan 53459, EXCEPT the East 297 feet, New Westminster District, from A-1 (Agricultural) to RS-iA (Single Family Residential) and RT-1 (Two Family Residential).
