CORMINTS FROM OTHER DEPARTMENT: Building Department? The Building Department has reviewed the data on record and conducted a cursory inspection of the property. The Department has no objection to this application proceeding. Engineering Department: . All necessary services are in place. The Department has no objection to this application proceeding. Fire Department, Bylaw Department, Parks and Recreation Department: No comments. DISCUSSION: Approval of this application will permit the strata title subdivision of an exiating conforming duplex. The applicant has advised that one of the units is occupied by the owners and the other by a relative who has given notice to move. It would, however, still be appropriate that the renters be informed that strata-titling of this property will not result in them being forced to move out for a period of at least six months after registration of the strata subdivision, in conformance with Council policy. Approval of this strata title application, subject to the conditions noted above, will not alter the current legal use of the property. Therefore, it is recommended that this application be approved.
