RECOMMENDATION :

1. That the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit No.
52/943 and ;

That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when
completed subject to;

a) The completion of design to the satisfaction of the Municipality.

BACKGROUND:

A Development Permit Application has been received for the construction of
a replacement office building at 1855 Kingsway Avenue. The site is presently
zoned M-2 (Heavy Industrial) and is designated "General Industrial" in the
Official Community Plan. The project ie subject to the Development Permit
Area guidelines for the Mary Hill Industrial Estate. , |

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

_ The proposal is to construct an office addition to an existing office
building on the site. The addition will be approximately 1200 sq. ft. in
area. A portable trailer which was functioning as office space in the same
location was recently removed in order to accommodate this addition.
