Robinson, Chairman, Family Division Comittee c/o District of Cooitlan Brunette Avenue Coquitlam, B. C. 3K 1E8 Dear Erian; Re: The Psychologict position at the Port Coquitlam Mental Health Center The present. psychologist at Port Coquitlam has applied and received a transfer ‘to Vernon. She is leaving on January 26, 1978. Although the final decision has not been made there is a strong possibility ‘ that her position at Port Coquitiam will not be filled. That is a matter of serious concern, not only to Kincaid, bat alse te the residents of Schcol District #43 who may need the services offered by a psycholozist. Kincaid uses the +:-vices of the Mental Health Center a great deal. For the past three and a half soars the psychologist has been a consultant to our program cosing here 4 a day a weak. Her role included doing psychological assessments, case and therapy consultation and supervision, consultation as to the state of the re- ‘source, internal affairs and group dynamics, and sitting on the admissions screen~ ing coumittee. I respectively request that the Family Division Camittee support the re- Placessent of the departing psychologist. I have enclosed a list of mailing addresses should the comuittes decide to write a detter. Thank you ror your consideration in this matter. , . Sincerely yours, Se HA c2daex0 3. FP.
