SUBJECT: 2231 WELCHER - COST SHARING OF ROAD PAVING

The Neveloper at 2231 Welcher Ave. has requested that the
City contribute $3500 towards the reinstation of the full
road width fronting his development.

The requirements for development of this site included the
paving of Welcher Ave. for a width of 6.25m. This would
leave a strip of poor flush-coat surface approx. 1.5m wide
along the south side of Welcher.

I would reccommend that the City contribute $3500 to have
the poor section removed and the whole width be replaced
with machine placed asphalt by the Developer,3 contractor
when he reconstructs Welcher Ave.
