As indicated to you at the regular Council meeting of October 4th, 1976, I wish
to have Council consider again, the question of annual vs, biennial elections
in the City of Port Coquitlam.

North Vancouver.

and particularly in a year when the Mayor is not up for re-election. Running all
of Council every two years should held Create greater public interest and par-

ticipation. For a third reason, I would suggest that a good deal of time is lost

annually during elections and this cannot be in the best interest ef the taxpayer.
