Sept. 20th, 1982. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. M.F. Harding, 2413 Scott Place regarding the walkway east of 2413 Scott Place. Mrs. Harding then made a presentation to the Council regarding the damage being done to her fence by children going to Hastings School and requested that the fence be replaced with a chainlink fence. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Muldoon: That Mrs. M.F. Harding's request for a chainlink fence along the walkway east of 2413 Scott Place be referred to the Public Works Committee for study and report to Council. Carried. BYLAWS: Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That Bylaw No. 1911 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. Carried. RESOLUTIONS: Moved by Alderman Lakina: Seconded by Alderman Muldoon: WHEREAS the City of Port Coqutlam, now having a population in excess of twenty-five thousand persons, is required pursuant to the provisions of Section 726 of the Municipal Act to have a Board of Variance consisting of five. members; AND WHEREAS the present size of the Board of Variance of the City is three members; AND WHEREAS the "Board of Variance Bylaw, 1982, No. 1919" has been enacted to provide for the increase in size from three to five members; AND WHEREAS one of the additional members is to be appointed by the Minister of Municipal Affairs, and the other by the Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam; NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that Mr. Wilfred Renner, 815 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, B.C., be appointed to the Board of Variance of The Corporation of the City of Port
