seduced by that complexity, the hand
doesn't resist a touch, attracted by the
sensuality of colours and images.”

OPPORTUNITIES

St.Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, [6 con-
structing new maternity areas a part of
its reclevelopment project. Provision
has been made in the new facilities for
the painling of murals of varying sizes,
Funding for this project ts being pro-
vided by the Variety Club of British
Columbia,

StPaul's would like to commission sig-
nificant works of art for the various
locations in the new maternity area.
Respondents are requested to submit
preliminary sketches or renderings that
exhibit theme and subject, The Uheme
should incorporate room function as
well as reflect the diversity of this com-
murnity’s cultural and social character-
istica and values. A reference portfolic
of previous projects is also requested. A
detailed information package is avail-
