Mountain adventure and dance programs offered Terrace Parks and Recreation is offering two new teen programs this spring — Mountain Adventures, and Free Danse. Two Mountain Adventure programs will be offered, one for 14 to 16-year-olds, and one for 10 to 13-year-olds. Enthusiasm and energy are requirements as the hikes will increase in length and difficulty every session. The first hike will be a three to four-hour one and the fourth session will be an overnight hike. Hiking locations will be in the Terrace area. Mountain Adventures start in May so register at the Terrace Parks and Recreation office in the Terrace Arena soon. The new Free Danse program is a dance class for girls and guys in Junior High School that starts with a classical warm-up and is followed by dance steps par- ticipants will learn to put together into great moves.
