francophone de Vancouver.

Encore une fois cette année, ce festival réunit

sur une méme scéne des artistes d’ici et d’ailleurs qui offriront aux Canadiens
frangais et aux amis de la francophonie |’occasion d’assister 4 des spectacles de
qualité en francais, dans une atmosphére de réjouissances et de fraternité. La
popularité de cette manifestation culturelle auprés de la communauté
témoigne de la vitalité de la culture francophone en Colombie-Britannique et
au pays.

A titre de ministre du Patrimoine canadien, je suis fitre d’appuyer le Festival
d@’été francophone de Vancouver et je tiens 4 féliciter le comité organisateur
qui fait de cette manifestation culturelle un vif succés.

Greetings to everyone participating in the Festival d’été francophone de
Vancouver.

Once again, the Festival brings together a diverse array of performers from
across Canada and around the world. The Festival provides an opportunity
for French Canadians and friends of the Francophnie to enjoy professional
performances in French in an atmosphere of celebration and friendship. The
popularity of this outstanding festival with its tradition of strong community
support is an enriching part of the Francophone culture in British Columbia
and throughout Canada.

As Minister of Canadian Heritage, I am proud to support the Festival d’été
francophone de Vancouver and congratulate the organizers who make this
cultural event a real success.
