Warm discussion de- veloped around the resolution which read, “‘We, representing the youth of Ontario, do not take part in any war whatsoever.”’ AMERICAN STUDENTS UNITE COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 29.— Merging of the League and the Students’ League for Industrial Democracy, two of the largest progressive student or- ganizations in U-.S., followed a joint convention held today. Despite a nation-wide campaign conducted by the reactionary Hearst press, 500 delegates from high schools and colleges from many parts of the country were present at the convention.
