Many prominent figures 1 _iabor and sports movement are faking an active interest in the campaisn. Charlies Stewart, execu- tive member of Vancouver Trades and Labor Council is all for sup- portine “the young folks in their endeavors.” “We- need such centres,’”’ he stated this week “not only to edu- cate the youns worker already or- ganized, but in order to aiin youns organized workers closer to the progressive movement.’ Harry Miller, Vancouver Sports ©€lub maestro, has announced that iis ciub is willing to stage a series of Sunday nisht affairs to aid the campaign in cooperation with the sponsors of the movement.
