Most of those from ontside who were present at the picnic also attended the dance. A collection was taken toward the picnic fund. Re- freshments were served by the Jolly Hours club. The group spent July 4th at Mahood Lake Lodge where Mrs. Hills entertained in the evening with coi- oured movies of their home and of their travel in the Canadian north and Alaska which included an ex- citing bear hunt. As an added inter- est Chuck Gaglardi presented movies in a winter setting in Wells Grey Park depicting the tagging of corral- led moose and the methods used. Thirty-five were tagged last spring by. Par personnel. Also enjoying the entertainment were the near neighbours and Mrs, Kenneth Hig gins and family. G Agricultural Field Day Well Attended An agricultural field day was held on the ranch of J: G. Boultbée, on July 9. A large crowd attended. Col- ored pictures showing various types of si nits and stacks were very interesting to the stockmen. Speak- ers were G. A. Luyat, supervising agriculturist, Kamloops, and Joe Walsh, district agriculturist from Williams Lake. Gordie Campbell of Kamloops put on a working demonstration of mod- ern haying machinery which inter- ested the visiting farmers and ranch- ers. Lunch was served at noon and supper at 5 p.m. on the lawn of the spacious Boultbee home. C. J. Faes- sler, president of Bridge Lake Farmers Institute was M.C. @ MISS AGNES FARSSLER, young- est daughter of Mr. and Mrs. EB. H. Faessler, has successfully passed her normal exams and will be teaching, after the holidays. MRS. LEAVITT senior was a re- cent guest of her son and daughter- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Leavitt.
