STOCK CAR ENTHUSIASTS
Driving car 789, Fred Seibert of Williams Lake made
the fastest heat time and won the “A” main event
as 18 stock cars opened the racing season at Ques-
ne] last Saturday evening. The three Williams
Lake entrants are shown above, left to right, Karl
Seibert, Ernie Taylor and Fred Seibert. Cars were
sponsored by C & § Tire Service Ltd., Taylor-Bough-
ton Motor Rebuild and Elton Elliot—Cariboo Home
Service. Ernie Taylor is in charge of the Taylor-
Boughton entry, but the car is driven by Denny
Stein of Quesnel. Local enthusiasts hope in the
future there will be a stock car track here, in the
meantime they plan to enter events at Quesnel and
