Loses finger in mill accident Tail sawyer Walter Duschel had to have his index finger am- putated after his hand got caught in the saw at Roseneau Bros., mill at Horsefly last Fri- day morning. Duschel was pulling a slab through the saw when his hand got caught in the blade. The blade cut half of his index finger and half way through the next finger. He was driven to War Memorial Hospital by foreman John Peters.
