C. on May 5th, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. Acting-Mayor Alderman M.A. Thompson, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, and L.M, Traboulay in attendance, Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City tngineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Recreation Ses Director Janna Taylor, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, City Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Works & Utilities Superintendent G, Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: Zoning Public Hearing ~ Acting-Mayor Alderman Thompson advised the meeting the following B/law #1370 (GVRD Housing Project-Cst. Meridian Rd.) proposed By-law to authorize issuance of a Land Use Contract would now be considered: By-law No. 1370: To authorize the Council to enter into a Land Use Contract with Greater Vancouver Housing Corporation, 2294 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., in the form and to the extent set forth in "Land Use Contract No. 10" which said Land Use Contract is annexed to and made part of the By-law and the said Land Use Contract No. 10 shall extend to and shall regulate the development and use of land des- cribed as: Lot 402, South-west Quarter Section 6, Township 40, New Westminster District as shown on a Plan of Subdivision pre- pared by Vernon C. Goudal, B.C.L.S., and dated March 26th, 1975. The above-noted property is a 15.42 acre site located on the East side of Coast Meridian Road in the 3000 and 3100 blocks thereof (approximately between the Eastward extension of Grant Avenue and the Eastward extension of Manning Avenue between Coast Meridian Road and Toronto Street) and upon its issuance Land Use Contract No. 10 will permit the land, buildings, and structures located or to be located thereat to be used for certain uses permitted in the RM-1 (Low-Density Apartment Residential) Zone as set out in Section 4 of the said Land Use Contract No. 10 in order += permit the construction of a residential complex containing 130 townhouse units and a 72~unit apartment building for a total of 202 living
