SUBJECT: Rezoning Application No. 17/83
Garton and Harris

RECOMMENDATION: That Counci! abandon rezoning bylaw 20@3 and
direct the Cierk's Office to prepare a new
rezoning application 17/83 as amended.

Thi is rezoning proposal was reviewed by Council's Planning.
Committee following its being tabled after public hearing. In’
addressing issues raised by area residents about the rezoning
‘application, the Committee has raquested that changes be made
to the proposal. Changes to he made include providing extra
barking stalis and closing the lane north of the development
ite. As these are substantive changes to the proposal,
‘another bylaw must be struck to accommodate these changes.

“The procedure being suggested for dealing with. this ——
application, is for City Council to first deal with the ene
“elosure. and manner” of its disposition, after that a firs
reading can be given to the rezoning bylaw for the ray ined
Project.
