No one was at home at the time of the fire caused by spontaneous combustion of artists oil painting equipment. $300 damage to a kitchen cupboard caused by children playing with matches, small basement wali fire caused by workmen thawing frozen pipes and a fire place.was started with the damper closed causing the smoke alarms to activate and filling the house with smoke. One car fire caused by an electrical short, $600 damages resulted. Three fire alarms set off, one in a kindergarten and two in commercial buildings. Sprinkler alarm malfunctioned in the Mary Hill Hospital. Still getting a number of calls to garbage containers, paper boxes and lately mail boxes. 47 Inhalator calls, 32 home emergencies consisting of heart attacks (some from older people shoveling snow) Children suffering breathing problems from colds and the flu. Epileptic seizures, strokes, severe nose bleed, injuries from domestic fights and injuries caused from falls. Attended five sports accidents, fall from a motorcycle, injuries to a student from a fight, two motor vehicle accidents, industrial accident when a man had large splinter driven threw his arm and three overdoses. continued on Page 2 cesccesseeeres
