His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R- Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright, in attendance. Also in attendance were city Administrator BOR. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, Acting City Engineer D. Riecken, Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, Director of Community Planning c.R. Felip, and Director of Building Permits and Inspections J.D. Shardiow. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES = Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting heid on May 28th, 1990 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATION: His Worship Mayor LM. Traboulay introduced Mr. J- Belfry from the Evening Optimist Club of Coquitlam and Ms. Lorraine Hogg, Vice President of the Wilson Centre Advisory Board who each made a donation of $1,900.00 to cover the cost of the installation of automatic door opener at Wilson Centre. From the Parks and Recreation Director, June 6th, 1990 regarding Automatic Door Opener ~ Wilson Centre. Moved by Alderman Stewart: Seconded by Alderman Laking > That an automatic door opener be installed on the front doors af the Wilson Centre. That the City gratefully accept donations, from the Wilson Centre Advisory Board and the Evening Optimist Club of Coquitlam, to cover the cost of the installation of the automatic door opener. Carried. PROCLAMATION: WHEREAS Disabled Persons need to have resources that will enable them to live as full and productive citizens of society; and WHEREAS Disabled persons are workers, consumers, home buyers, apartment dwellers, users of public and private transportation and municipal and recreation facilities and are, in short, full and contributing members of society; and
