Deur Sir—Reading in a late issue
of the Herald of a road from Dugald
MeLean ranch to Kitwanga, only two
tiles not finished, reminds us ef a
dy. on her way to Kitwanga, miding
a hoarse that has ranged this vicinity
for over ‘twenty years, and not find-
ing this yoad, the lady had to pass the
night in the woods. Or. it mny have
teen th horse that. went on strike be-
cause this two miles was not finished.
We will have to look around as we
did not know that any of this road
wre finished, until advised by the
news in the Heruld. We know thint
Some good money was spent on the
project, but it may not have been a

the vlver at Kitwanga and pass thro-

elton defeated the Telkwa team on
Sunday afternoon at Telkwa, There
was not a very large attendance and
the gume was very one sided. The
