UJ N C | [ 1 chimney fire APR 10 1972 grass or rubbish fires 2 house fires 1 car fire 31 inhalator calls ‘41 Total calls 147 firemen attended 147 man hours $90.00 firemens renuneration $100.00 damages Siren sounded twice 23 patients transported. $100.00 damages was to a car that caught fire that had pulled into a service station, cause electrical short. There was no damage to the service station. 2 calls to house fires, one a vacant house to be demolished started by youngsters. The other was a small fire started when a child placed a cioth over a lamp. 31 inhalator calls. 6 motor vehicle accidents, 2 people suffering epileptic seizures, 2 elderly men fell while out walking, minor injuries occurred. Attended two separate incidents involving people hit by cara. One industrial accident, a workmen was hit on the head by a piece of lumber at the mill. Two cases of overdoses and one attempted suicide 16 home emergencies which included several heart attacks and people having trouble breathing. One lady had severe back injuries and another haemorrhaging. Seriously i11 man collapsed at home. Total number of calls for the first quarter of 1972 is 107.
