RECOMMENDATION: Install one hydro pole and mast arm light approx. in front of 2274 Lrvine Ave. at an estimated cost of $800, BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: Attached is a request from a resident ‘of 2268 Irvine Ave. requesting that the Engineering Dept. install a streetlight on Irvine. ; Existing Conditions There are presently no streetlights or hydro poles on Irvine. Power would have to come from existing lights on Shaughnessy or from Pitt River Rd. SOLUTIONS 1) Install a hydro pole (including wiring) with mast arm light taking power from Shaughnessy St. The light would be approx. at 2274 Irvine since the distance between lights to accommodate overhead wiring is roughly 35m. ; 2) Install a hydro pole (including wiring) with mast arm light taking power from Pitt River Rd. The light would be at the comer of Irvine and the lane east of 2258 Irvine.
