RECOMMENDATION:

1. That Committee award the contract to B.F.I. Ltd to process, mar‘ ~* and haul recyclable materials in

Six waste service companies were invited for quotation to process, market and haul recyclable materials.
However, there were only three companies submitted a tender:

I. B.F.I. Lid.
2. ETL Environmental Technology Ltd.
3. Waste Management of Greater Vancouver

After reviewing the tenders, B.F.I. Ltd. submitted the lowest tendered price of $86,456 (G.S.T. included) to
process, market and haul recyclable materials. The following table illustrates the tendered price from the

submitted tenders:

BFL Ltd. is one of the world's largest publicly-held and highly reputable waste service companies. BEI. Ltd.
is currently under contract with the City of Burnaby to process and market their residential recyclable materials.
