A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the
Council Meeting of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam held in the Council Chambers,
Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, April 26th,
1993, at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H.
Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and MLR. Wright were in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City
Treasurer/Deputy Administrator J.G.S. Maitland, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, Fire Chief J.
Baillie, Project Engineer M.J. Davies.

PUBLIC HEARING:

Mayor Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws would now be considered:

To rezone:

Portions of:

A 1.3 ha. (3.21 acre) Lot A, Except: Part Subdivided by LMP6010, Section 6, Plan 5345 is
rezoned from A-1 (Agricultural) to RS-3 (Estate Residential)

A 2.03 ha. (4.9 acre) portion of Lot 8, Except: Firstly, Part Subdivided by Plan 32417; &
Secondly, Part Subdivided by Plan LMP6010, Section 6, Plan 4318 is rezoned from A-1
(Agricultural) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential)
A 4.31 ha. (10.6 acre) portion of Lot 8, Except: Firstly, Part Subdivided by Plan 32417; &
Secondly, Part Subdivided by Plan LMP6010, Section 6, Plan 4318 is rezoned from A-1
(Agricultural) to RS-1 (Large Lot Residential)

All in New Westminster District

from Agricultural to Large Lot Residential, Small Lot Residential, and Estate Residential.

The property is located off Fremont Street and will permit the development of 49 Large Lot
Residential properties, 30 Small Lot Residential Properties, and one area designated Estate
Residential.
