Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution:

That the report from the City Engineer, April 7, 1993 regarding New Railway Crossing -
Kingsway and Westwood be referred to the Public Works Committee for fuxther information on
the deductible for liability insurance and the frequency of trains at the Kingsway and Westwood
crossing.

From the City Engineer, April 7, 1994 regarding Lougheed Highway Connector Project.

That Council authorize PBK Engineering Ltd. to proceed with Part Ii: Road and Bridge
Engineering, Lougheed Connector Project at a tendered cost of $216, 852.00.

That $216,852.00 be allocated from the Roads DCC Fund for this purpose.
Carried.

From the Planner, April 6, 1994 regarding Rezoning Application No. 12/94 for 1250 Pitt River
Road.

‘That Rezoning Application No. 12/94 for 1250 Pitt River Road be approved to proceed for

rezoning from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential) under section 963

of Municipal Act subject to:

a) Completion of a subdivision plan to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning;

b) Approval of the subdivision plan by the Approving Officer;

Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements,

Demolition of the existing building; and

Registration of a restrictive covenant on the properties to prevent new buildings from being
converted to contain secondary suites.

Councillors Stewart and Talbot
voted in favour of the resolution.
