THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM Lieutenant-Governor in Council Province of British Columbia. The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam HUMBLY SHOWETH: 1. That the Hunicipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has by By-law No. 1476 cited as the “Ulster Street Road Closure By-law, 1976, No, 1474" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of Ulster Street shown dedicated on Plan 2289 therein described: 2. That the said By-law No. 1474 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlan was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Munictpal Council of The Corpuration of the City of Port Coquitlam on the Eighteenth day of October, 1976 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto 3. That the registered owners of all the adjoining and contiguous Jands have consented to the closure of the said portion of Ulster Street shown dedicated on Plan 2289 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; 4, That the portion of Ulster Street show dedicated on Plan 2289 described in the said By-law No. 1474 has never been open to traffic nor has public money been expended thereon and it is desirable to close the said portion of Street to provide’ for the more convenient occupation of Lot 394, ° Southsest Quarter, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 44683, New Westmingter District, by the registered owner therof; 5. That should the prayer of this petition be granted and title to the said portion of Ulster Street shown dedicated on Plan 2289 be vested in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam the said City has the present intention of selling the said land to the registered owner of the aforesaid Lot 394 for full market value, namely Forty-one thousand, two hendred fifty-six ($41,256.60) Dollars folloving receipt of final Council approval thereof and completion of the statutory procedures required in that behalf; 6. : That by Resoluticn dated the Fifteenth day of November, 1976, the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Lieutenant-Governor in Souncil praying for the abandonment of the ‘said portion of Ulster Street shown dedicated on Plan 2289 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of: Ulster Street shown dedicated on Plan 2289 described in By-law No. 1474 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the veeting of title to the land comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.
