Position Available Editor for the Potters Guild of BC Newsletter The Potters Guild of BC is looking for an editor for our newsletter, We would like to offer thas opportunity to the members of the Guild. If you are interested and have the knowledge, skills and ume needed, please respond as soun as possible to indicating your in- terest und describing your qualifications. We are hoping to make a decision in early November. Below is a description of the position as well as a list of qualifications. Pay for this position will not exceed 400 per month. As the newsletter editor, you will be re- sponsible for editing and publishing a monthly newsletter for PGBC. You will be expected to contact writers and coordi- nate the preparation of articles, advertise- ments, images and other content to be published in the newsletter as well as de- termining the layout of the publication. Your involvement will also include coor- dination of the printing and volunteers for envelope stuffing amd mail out, Along with your editing skills, you need to be extremely well organized, Nexible and an effective communicator. A great deal of the work will involve the use of a computer and publishing software, Previ- ous experience with a newskster would be valuable, Qualifications: |. Writing and editing skills; 2, Computer skills including use of Quark Express or PageMaker, Microsoft Word, PhotoShop, and Outlook Express and Intemet Explorer or comparable internet programs; digital ourput of newsletter to the printer, 3.
