Moved by Councillor Thompson: Seconded by Councillor Gordon: That Ms. Deborah Solberg cf the Coquitlam Area Fine Arts Council be allowed to address Council regarding a request for funding by the Council. Carried. Moved by Councillor Thompson: That Council approve in principle a fee for service to the Coquitalm Area Fine Arts Council and that this request be referred to Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee to determine from where the funds will be allocated. Carried, Councillor Talbot left the Council Chamber at 8:30 p.m. From the City Clerk, October 15th, 1992 regarding Development Variance Permit No. 23/92 for 1325 Pitt River Road. Mr. M. Forrest of 1620 Knappen requested clarification of the Development Variance Permit for 1325 Pitt River Road. The City Planner discussed the Variance request. Moved by Councillor Wright: Seconded by Councillor Thompson: That as recommended by the Director of Planning in his memorandum of September 30th, 1992 the Voluntary Development Variance Permit be issued for 1325 Pitt River Road. Carried. Councillor Talbot retumed to the Council Chambers at 8:35 p.m. and took his place at the table. From the City Clerk, October 15th, 1992 regarding Development Variance Permit No. 48/92 for 1202 Cedar Drive. Mr. Gord Walker of 2485 Ottawa expressed concern that the variance request will effect the value of his land and is opposed to the change. Letters opposing the proposed variance request were received by: Mr. Stanley Radatske of Satensbury Estates Ltd., owner of 2624 Coast Meridian Road. Mr. Ross Elliott of Lougheed Enterprises Ltd., owner of 1211 and 1305 Dominion Avenue.
