That as recommended ‘in a report from the Public Works Committee,
April 8th, 1976, the tender received from Vulcan Machinery Ltd., for the
supply of a Bomag BW65 Vibratory Double Drum Roller, in the amount of

$4,530.00 (F.S.T. Exempt, 7% Provincial Tax extra), be approved,
Carried.

From the Public Works Committee, April 8th, 1976, advising that at P/Wks. Comm.
“2 purchase

the March llth, 1976 Budget Meeting approval was given by Council to Os ex, - ator |

call tenders for a rubber-cired excavator to replace the City's present
Allis-Chalmers Backhoe; however, the low bid of $55,105.00 does not

meet specifications and recommending the purchase sf a Deott 40 Cruz—air

Excavator as tendered by Walkem Machinery, in the amount of $66,821.50

(F.S.T. Exempt, 7% tax and Trade-in of $15,000.00 included).

Carried.

Alderman Keryluk voted against the resolution.
Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Keryluk stated

he felt the equipment recommended was too expensive.

From the Public Works Committee, April 9th, 1976, advising that in
accordance with a resolution passed at the March 8th, 1976 Council
meeting a review of the proposed Policy for Division of Responsibility
“or Maintenance and Improvement of Inter-Muenicipal Boundary Roads between
the District of Coquitlam and the City of Port Coquitlam, dated February
23rd, was undertaken ané recommending that the Proposed Policy dated
February 23rd, 1976, be reconsidered and accepted as it has been by the
District of Coquitlam.

be accepted. Carried.
Alderman Keryluk voted against the rasolution.
