Brown ' Director of Community Planning SUBJECT: Seaver Lumber Site 3380 Westwood Street Rezoning Application 11/82 RECOMMENDATION: That City Council direct the Clerk's Office. to Prepare a bylaw rezoning the northwest corner of Lot 195 of District Lot 380, Group |, Pian 58154 New Westminster District. As shown on the attached plan, from an RS-! Single Family Zoning Designation to a C-2 Neighbourhood Commercial Zoning Designation. Subject to the following conditions - The developer enter into an agreement to ensure that phases of this development are architectually compatible. ~ That interim use of the property be discontinued. BACKGROUND: This application was initially submitted November 1982. At that time, the applicant was requested to prepare an overal| plan of development, showing how the phases of construction for this property would be undertaken. The concern of the City at that time was the split Ownership and potential that an early phase of the development could preclude the later development of another part of the Property. Subsequent to that, the property has gone back to a Single ownership. COMMENTS : The first phase of development of the Beaver Lumber property is to be the north west corner.
