A bylaw to autnorize the borrowing of CER 4 1 1995
The estimated cost of constructing
Imprevements to the sewer system,

WHEREAS [t Is deemed desirable and expedient to construct Improvements to the
sewer Systam servicing the South Mary HIl! area.

AND WHEREAS the estimated cast of constructing Improvements to the sewer system

Inciuding expenses Incidents! thereto Is the sum of $392,000.00 whlen Is the amount of
debt intended to be created by this byl GW.

AND WHEREAS the amount of the assessed value for general municipal purposes of
The taxable Jana ang Improvements for the current year ang for each of the two years
Immediately preceding the current year ware:

1985 =~ $834,578,367.00
1984 ~ $834,213,967.00
1983 = $826,724,952.00

AND WHEREAS the depreciateg value as at the 3}st day of December 1984 of the
water utility for which the municipality possesses a supsisting certificate of sal f-
IIquidation granted py the Inspector of Muniefpalltfes was $2,187,000.00.

ANODUWHEREAS a pravislonal certificate of self-ilquidatrion has been Issued In
respect of the Sewer system of the muntolpality.

AND WHEREAS the amount of the autnorlzed debenture debt of The municipality ts
$2,697,869.00 of which $2,697,869.00 Is existing outstanding debenture debt and
$ Nit Is authorlzedq ana unissued denenture deot, and none of the principal or Interest
of the aebenture debt of The munfictpatity ts In arrears,

AND WHEREAS the maximum term for whlch gebentures may be [Ssuea to secure the
deb? created by This bylaw Is 20 years.

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Councl! of the Corporation of The City of Port
Coqultiam, In open meeting assembled, enacts as fol laws: ’

(1). To borrow upon the credit of the Munietpallty a sum not
exceeding $392,000.00.

(2). To acquire all such real property, easements, rights-of-way,
|\lcenses, rights or authorities as may be requisite or dasirable
