Re: Policy Statement ~ Fraser Valley Regional Library

Alderman Keryluk has asked that the attached Policy Statement of the
Fraser Valley Regional Library be placed on the Council agenda and Alderman

Keryluk advises as follows:

1. The intent of the Policy Statement is to initiate upgrading of services
of the Fraser Valley Regional Library Board with a view to meeting Library

Development Commission standards and thus qualifying for Government grants

‘which may be made available.

2. Council should, if the statement meets with their favour, approve this

. Policy Statement.

- We also attach, for Council's information, information concerning the

‘1975 Library Tax Assessments and Operating Budget of the Library.
