From the Leisure Activities Committee, May 13th, 1976, advising of
@ request received from the Schuetzenfest Committee of the Port Coquitiam
& District Hunting & Fishing Club, May lst, 1976, that June 19th, 1976

be declared Schuetzenfest Day in Pert Coquitlam.

That as recommended in a report from the Leisure Activities Committee,
May 13th, 1976, the request of the Schuetzenfest Committee of the Port
Coquitlam & District Hunting & Fishing Club, May 1st, 1976, that June

19th, 1976 be declared "Schuetzenfest: Day" in Port Coquitlam, be approved.
Carried.

The City Clerk advised that the joint report from the Public Works
and Leisure Activities Committees on improvements to Aggie Park intended
to be distributed separately for the meeting this evening, will now be
submitted by the City Engineer in two weeks.

The City Clerk then advised that two applications for burning
permits had been submitted by the Fire Prevention Officer — one set
forth on the Agenda from Meridian Developments Co. Ltd., ~ and the other
received earlier today from Mr. Leonard G. Sheers.
