Dear Sirs:

Please accept this letter as notification of my
resignation from the position of City Engineer of the City
of Port Coquitlam effective Friday, March 31st, 1978.

My six years with Port Coquitlam have been enjoyable,
at times exciting, and extremely rewarding. It is with consid-
erable sadness that I am tendering my resignation as it will
mean the termination of valuable day to day relationships with
the staff and Council. These relationships have, I feel, dev-
eloped and expanded over the past several years and I will
remember them and treasure them.

There are still goals I would like to reach for and
Girections to follow in my career and toward this end I will
be joining a firm of consulting engineers in Vancouver. It is
our family's.intention to continue to reside in Port Coquitlam
and we look forward to seeing you from time to time.
