THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM REAL PROPERTY FOR SALE BY TENDER INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam invites tenders for the purchase of the undernoted property: Lot 200, Southeast 1/4 Section 7, Township 40, Plan 36681. The property is located at 1065 Lynwood Avenue and has a total area of approximately 0.7972 ha (1.97 acres). Tenders must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside “Tender for Lynwoed Avenue Property” and addressed to: Susan Rauh Acting City Clerk City of Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street Port Coquitlam, B.C. and be in his hands by 12:00 o'clock noon, Thursday, November 22nd, 1990. Any tencer received after this time will be returned unopened as will ali tenders inadvertently opened before the closing time as a result of not being adequately marked on the outside of the sealed envelope as required. Terms of Sale 1. A certified cheque in the amount of $5,000.00 payable to the City of Port Coquitlam must accompany each tender as a deposit and each tender will be open for acceptance by the Council for a period of 30 days. Upon a tender being accepted by the Council a further installment of $20,000.00 must be paid to the City by certified cheque by the successful tenderer within five days of receipt of notice of acceptance of the tender or the deposit will be forfeited. The balance of the offered price must be paid by the Successful tenderer within 30 days or as soon thereafter as requested or the deposit will be forfeited. The certified cheques of the unguccessful tenderers will be returned no later than 30 days after the closing time specified above.
