Applying T.D.M.’s on the scale as proposed under the Transport 2021 Report has not been
tempted in the past. If increasing gas prices by 50% and having $2.00 tolls at all major
bridges does not work, there could be significant traffic congestions.

The Transport 2021 Plan states that air pollution will be enhanced with the plan as
proposed. However, it is anticipated that truck traffic will be impeded under this plan and
that there will be a greater amount of stop and start vehicle traffic throughout the region.
This would go against the air pollution objectives of the Transport 2021 Report.

More sidewalks and facilities are required for seniors.

The Transport 2021 report should look at more counterflow measures at bridges and
arterial roads to improve the use of existing transportation facilities.

Arterial bicycle routes are not shown or discussed in any detail in the Transport 2021
Report.
