Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Committee, September 20th, 1978 Rezoning Application R#2-78 for the proposed development of a 24-unit apartment on Atkins Avenue, described as Lots D, 72 and 73, Plan 2078 and Plan 15124 proceed to Public Hearing. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution the Planning Officer explained the Proposed development and advised that the east - west lane would be exchanged for the north — south lane at the cost of $1.00/foot. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That the east-west lane involved in the proposed 24-unit apartment development on Atkins Avenue, described as Lots D, 72 and 73, Plan 2078 and Plan 15124 be exchanged for the north-south lane at the cost of $1.00 per foot. From the Public Works Committee, September 19th, 1978 advising of the problem on Eastern Drive with vehicles driving down the wrong side of the median southbound to make a left turn into Penny Place or of making a U-turn around the median when leaving Penny Place and recommending that part of the median be removed, and that the elevation be raised for the northbound lanes, at an estimated cost of $10,000.00.
