SUBJECT: Request to Hold a “Link” Camp in Lions Park

The attached letter was received from the Boyscouts of Canada in
early April regarding a request to hold a special link camp in Lions
Park during a weekend in the month of May, 1994.

In light of the fact that we have a City bylaw which controls access
to park properties and opening and closing hours, etc a report needs
to be prepared for the Parks and Recreation Committee for their
consideration.

Would you please review the attached request and prepare the
appropriate report and recommendation for my review which will be
forwarded to the Parks and Recreation Committee. I would appreciate
receiving this report by Friday, June 18, 1993. We have been in
contact with the Boyscouts and told them that we would be taking this
request to Committee during the month of June.

Please let me know if you are not able to meet this timeline.
