Recommendation:

That the tender subrnitted by Fitzpatrick Contracting Ltd., in the
amount of $174,490.00 be accepted for this project.

Background and Comments:

Money was approved in the 1992 Capital Budget to begin the development of |
Phase 1 of Reeve Street Park. This contract includes the installation of
underground services and the hydro duct bank (for under grounding the
overhead wires). '

Seven firms bid on this project. Fitzpatrick Contracting Lid. was low bid and
is being recommended to be awarded the contract for this job. This _
recommendation is consistent with one received from the project architect.

Funds are available in the Reeve
Park Capital Budget
