November Ist, 1982. 2. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That the minutes of ‘the Special Council meeting held on October 27th, 1982 be taken as read and adopted. Prior to the question being called on the above mentioned resolution Alderman Muldoon asked that this motion be postponed until the regular meeting of November 8th, 1982. DELEGATIONS: Acting Mayor Alderman D.3. Vater introduced Mrs. Myrna Larsen, 1395 Eastern Drive who then spoke to Council regarding the proposed sites for the Court House and Remand Center Complex. Mrs. Jean Sass, 2159 York Place, asked for clarification on the new sites and Alderman Vater advised these sites were proposed by the City Planner as alternate sites to the Wilson Avenue proposal. Members of Council were able to provide Mrs. Larsen with answers to some of her inquiries and Mrs. Larsen was advised that the Attorney General advised he would make an announcement of his decision on a site in 90 days. BYLAWS: Alderman Laking introduced a Bylaw to amend the "Traffic Regulation Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117". Moved by Alderman Lakina: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That Bylaw No. 1920 be read a first time. Defeated. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution Alderman Muldoon suggested an amendment to the Bylaw that a time limit on the restrictions be included. Moved by Alderman Muldoon: That Bylaw 1920 be amended to include a time limit on its operation so that it would only be effective until. a replacement bridge on Pitt River Road is in place.
