be amended by deleting the Resolution on page 5 giving final adoption to

By-law #1774 and that the minutes as amended be taken as read and adopted.

That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on
September 22nd, 1980 be taken as read and adopted.

That By-law No. 1776 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted.

1980 requesting permission to hold a lottery from October 9th, 1980 to
November 19th, 1980,

That as requested by the Canadian Calorfe Counters, Branch #104,
September 23rd, 1980 permission be given to hold a lottery from October
9th, 1980 to November 19th, 1980.

Prior to the questlon being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Traboulay inquired regarding whether this group waa in face
a charitable group and it was agreed that the City Clerk would recelve
assurances on this point.

From the National Survival Instituce, September 5th, 1980 requesting

that the week of October L2th to 18th, 1980 be proclaimed "Environment

Week" in Port Coquitlam,
