I have just been advised that your Traffic Committee has recently
discussed the situation regarding bicycles and willbe recommending
to the City Ceuncil that monies be made available to implement the
Canada Safety Council Bicycle Program through the elementary schools.
fo assist the Council in determining the costs of sucn a program I am
outlining a revised cost based uzon an improved pricing arrangement
made available through the B.C. Safety Council as follews:

Tt should be noted that the total sum is devoted to materials which can
be used for a number of years, The expensive teacher kits will ke
shared between two schools while the remaining materials will be placed
in each school.
