28, 1972 addressed to the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Jean
Marchand, which was forwarded to this office for handling.

I wish to advise that CP Rail has been requested to file
its submissions in the matter, explaining the alleged violation of
Section 251 of the Railway Act. In the meantime a separate investi-
gation will be undertaken by Committee staff officers and when the
investigation has been completed I will communicate with you again.
