September 13, 1993/273 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council Meeting of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, September 13th, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors, M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City Engineer IR. Zahynacz, Planner C.R. Felip, Director of Building Permits and Inspections J.D. Shardlow, Fire Chief J.L. Baiilie, Deputy Fire Chief G. Routley, and Recreation Manager/Deputy Director of Parks & Recreation L. Wheeler. PUBLIC HEARING: Mayor Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2801 To rezone: 1. Parcel A District Lot 380 Group 1 Plan LMP 9031 New Westminster District from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS-2 (Smali Lot Residential). That 627m? portion of: Lot | District Lot 380 Group | Plan 22206 New Westininster District from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential). The property is located at 2432 and 2438 Kitchener Avenue and would permit the creation of three Small Lot Residential properties. Mr. Ken Klassen, 2424 Kitchener expressed concern regarding required side yard setbacks for RS-2 (Small Lot Residential) zoning. Mr. John Duguid, Developer, spoke of the trees that would remain on the property. Mr. Klassen responded that the development to the west had all the trees taken down.
