RE: McDonald's Restaurant
Land Use Contract #18
Parking Lot Extension

Council will recall the Proposed land use contract amendment to
extend the parking lot on to Lot 315, north of the existing restaurant. The
proposal was rejected by Council Subsequent to the public information meeting.

McDonald's has now teapplied for further consideration of the
previous proposal and has met with the Planning and Zoning Committee.

The Committee is of the opinion that the parking lot extension does
not seem to present any Major conflict with the existing and proposed uses in
the Surrounding areas, Furthermore, the Proposal will help resolve the problem
with access on Oxford which has been existing since the opening of the restaurant.

RECOMMENDATION:

The Committee recommends that the proposed land use contract
amendment be forwarded to public hearing.
