(b) The provision of this section do not apply to buses, custom transit vehicles, or emergency vehicles. 607. No person shall park any Class 2 or Class 3 vehicle on any street located in an area that is zoned for residential use by the Zoning Bylaw of the City. 608. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Bylaw, the City Engineer is authorized to make orders establishing the maximum permitted gross weight of a v+hicle or combination of vehicles permitted on any highway or portion of a highway, for the protection of the highway. Any order under this section shall be made in writing, shall take effect upon the posting of signage on the affected highway or portion and may be rescinded, revoked, amended, or varied, by the City Engineer.
