We believe it to be more livable in the Lower Mainland if there are more alternative municipalities with their inany different lifestyles. 4. - We are a unique municipality in that we are bounded on three sides by water and the North by a portion of iand that should for all purposes — geographically, culturally and serviceability - be part of Port Coquitlam. 5. Our citizens for many years accepted a heavier tax burden in order to have increased services and this would be to their disadvantage if amalgamation took place. 6. We are a well-balanced City with residential, apartments, industry -and com- merce. Our recreation and park facilities are adequate for years to come.
